It is important to understand why Arvind Kejriwal is
visiting Gujarat few weeks before central elections?
Kejriwal knows that even if he finds few unhappy people, few
signs of corruption(no one claims that Gujarat is 100% corruption free not even
Modi), and a few broken roads, he can publicize the same in front of Media and
will create good amount of negative publicity for Modi.
If Kejriwal is eager
to learn what development has happened in Gujarat, he should also include industrial
cities- Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodra, Jamnagar etc. - in his itinerary. But I am
sure he would visit only those places which are the poorest in the entire
state. As a rational evaluator of a situation, he should look at both sides -
underdeveloped and developed areas in Gujarat. And then share his findings with
media.
But don’t fool yourself if you expect Kejriwal to give a
fair judgment on Gujarat as that will not serve his political ambitions.
